Our children are our future who would shape our nation into a better and inclusive place to live in. Our aim is to instil acceptance, compassion and empathy into the hearts of younger generation. We aim to provide an inclusive and a sound environment for students to grow in school and contribute to the society. We aim the children to comprehend diversity unknown to them in their vicinity, respect it and finally accept it wholeheartedly.

As per a survey conducted by an NGO called SPACE (Society for People’s Awareness Care Empowerment) in 2017 in Delhi in 15 private schools with a total population of 7000 students, 19% identified as a gender not conforming to binary. 30% of students out of that experienced gender-based bullying.
As per a 2019 Reuters report in the state of Tamil Nadu in India, one-third of students drop school because they are being bullied for being feminine (biologically male student) or not conforming to the binary notion of gender.
Action for Well being intends to educate teachers, professors and students in schools and colleges as well as the employees in the corporate world about the notion of gender beyond the binary perspective, the LGBTQIA+ community, mental health and laws which protect sexual minorities in India. Once we educate people about these topics, we help them to overcome inherent biases associated with the LGBT+ community. The sessions we provide help the LGBT+ students in developing confidence in their own existence, build empathy in students and teachers or any other person towards the LGBT+ community and suggest them ways to develop an inclusive and conducive environment for every child to grow.
At this stage, our major focus is schools and educational institutions. However, we are extending our area to experiment in other sectors too.
