Our founder Adv. Suraj Tomar organised an event on “Understanding Gender: Beyond Binary Perspectives” with the help of Dean of Law (Prof. Vijay Kumar) and the faculty of Law at SRM University Sonipat-Delhi NCR on 24th May 2023. The speakers were Ms. Anjali Gopalan (founder of NAZ (India) Trust and Ms. Simran Shaikh Bharucha ( Director of Transgender Health (Accelerate), John Hopkins University, USA). Our co-founder Mr. Abhishek Dey was invited as a guest moderator/anchor for the same event. The discussion was to normalise the stigma adhered to the LGBTQIA+ community and generate empathy in the hearts of young students. Many questions related to education, law, health, both physical and mental, politics and culture were discussed. The audience comprised of the registrar of the organising University, faculty from various departments and students from various fields- law, Political Science, Biology, Psychology, Engineering, computer application etc.
