Mr. Tomar  is a registered advocate and practices law within one of the district courts in Delhi. He embraces his identity as a cisgendered gay man. Suraj hails from a middle-class Hindu family.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications (BCA), Suraj Tomar amassed nearly a decade of professional experience within the IT industry. His notable achievements include the recognition of one of his research papers as the best technical paper at the MSME International Conference in 2015. Driven by a profound interest in cybercrimes and cyber laws, he pursued further education and obtained his LL.B. degree from Mewar College of Law. Currently, Suraj is pursuing LL.M. at SRM University, Sonipat. He has appeared on news channels like BBC and JIST.NEWS and openly extended his support for marriage equality.
